We send our best wishes for a speedy recovery to Druids hooker WILL ROWBERRY. He is hospitalised in Glangwili after undergoing an emergency surgical procedure last night. Will sustained a crush injury to his lower left leg leading to 'compartment syndrome', in yesterday's Castell Howell Plate semi final at Nantgaredig RFC.
The player felt the injury during the game but did not request medical assistance & continued playing for the full duration of the match. It was much later that Will was advised to go to A&E to check the condition of his badly swollen leg. He was quickly diagnosed and admitted for immediate attention. He will remain hospitalised to be assessed if a skin graft procedure is required.
In a tweet earlier, Will said ' I'll be on that bus to Parc y Scarlets' - great attitude pal!
