Athletic have drawn Rhydyfelin RFC in the next round of the Swalec Cup Plate competition. The Pontypridd based club will visit Athletic Park on Saturday 29th October for a 2.30pm kick off.
The reward for beating Div 1 West opponents Aberystwyth in the last round is another home draw against first division opposition, this time Div 1 East pace setters Rhydyfelin. The 'Villagers' have maximum points from 5 league games played & sit proudly at the top of their league table.
It will be a tough encounter for our young side but grit & determination, coupled with familiar surroundings will make for a competitive match at the end of the month.
