Re-opening - Saturday 8th August

Dear Members & Supporters,

Finally, after six months of enforced closure due to the lockdown to combat Covid-19, we are opening our doors next Saturday, from 2 pm to 7 pm.

We have complied fully with the Welsh Government's advice (in conjuction with the Welsh Rugby Union) since the outbreak of the Pandemic, and we shall continue to comply with guidance during this easing of lockdown period. We are classified as being part of the hospitality sector, which has been hit hard and one of the last sectors to emerge from lockdown. There is no doubt that the financial implications for our club has been extremely serious, but we are determined to proceed with caution to ensure that the health and welfare of all is paramount.

We have taken every precaution to make the clubhouse safe for everyone, and together we must comply with the steps that we have put into place in order to protect our members & staff alike. These measures will seem very strange to us all, but we ask for patience and understanding as we all adapt to the new 'norm'. Some of the key points to be observed are outlined below:

1 ONE PERSON ENTRY TO THE CLUBHOUSE AT A TIME

2 ENTER YOUR NAME & PHONE NUMBER ON THE DAILY LOG

3 USE THE PROVIDED HAND SANITISER ON ENTRY

4 ORDER DRINKS AT DESIGNATED POINT AT THE BAR

5 COLLECT DRINKS FROM COLLECTION POINT AT THE BAR

6 OBSERVE SOCIAL DISTANCING

7 USE OF TOILETS IS LIMITED TO ONE PERSON AT A TIME

8 PLEASE WASH YOUR HANDS USING THE SOAP DISPENSER

9 EXIT THE CLUBHOUSE VIA THE PATIO DOOR IN EITHER ROOM

10 SIGNS WILL BE VISIBLE THROUGHOUT THE PREMISES TO ASSIST ALL

Although the above guidance seems a lot to take in, it will become 'second nature' as everyone gets used to the new 'norm'. We are confident that with your help, we can look forward to a successful re-opening and bright future for our beloved club.

STAY SAFE & WE LOOK FORWARD TO SEEING YOU ON SATURDAY!
