In wet & windy conditions, both teams put on a valiant and competitive performance which reflected the clash of the top two teams in the league.
Although the horrid conditions were not condusive to attractive rugby, both sides tried very hard to keep ball in hand to entertain supporters who braved the elements.
It was the home team who reaped the rewards of their efforts with three unconverted tries by: Taylor Williams, Gruff Giles and Iwan Glynn.
This victory ensures that Athletic Youth extend their lead at the top of the league to seven points.
