History Point QR Codes are now in situ

The History Point QR Codes are now in situ at Athletic Park. The Club is sited on the former WW2 US Army GI Camp which later became a Prisoner of War Camp.

The QR Codes can be scanned by Members & Visitors alike on their smart phones to reveal a brief history of both the Club and WW2 usage for the site. The separate sites have a link to each other and the rich history is intertwined. At the time of our founding in 1944 our future ground was housing Prisoners of War on the site previuosly used to accommodate American GI's before they departed for mainland Europe.

Fascinating indeed!
