Huge Congratulations!

The Club is absolutely proud and delighted, that two former Youth players take to the field together in the final, deciding test against South Africa.

Hooker Ken Owens and wing Josh Adams will wear the famous Red Jersey of the British & Irish Lions with pride as they attempt to maul the powerful World Champions in Cape Town on Saturday.

They will emulate another pair of former Club players who played together for the Lions. Delme Thomas & Gerald Davies became part of rugby folklore as they conquered the All Blacks in a winning test series for the first and only time on New Zealand soil in 1971.

Ken & Josh now have the opportunity to also etch their names in Lions history.

With immense pride, we wish both players our very best wishes and good luck on Saturday.

Recently, Lions 'Clubs of Origin' were asked to send goodwill messages to their men on tour duty in South Africa. Click on the link below to view our contribution. With our grateful thanks to @Rufio99 for his assistance.
