Club life member, Scarlets, Wales & Lions hooker Ken Owens was recently awarded an honarary fellowship of the University of Wales Trinity St David at a ceremony in Carmarthen.
He joins former rugby legends Gerald Davies, Delme Thomas & Roy Bergiers who were previously bestowed the same honour.
All four players have a close association with our club, Delme & Roy are former players and the latter is a former 1st XV captain, both are life members. Gerald briefly played for our Youth XV.
We are extremely proud of the four gents who have achieved so much at the highest level in our game. Congratulations to one & all.
