Druids have a date at Parc y Scarlets!

Castell Howell Cup Semi Final, Saturday 5th May

On a glorious sun drenched Athletic Park in front of a sizeable crowd, the Druids secured a place in this year's cup final with a fine semi final performance against plucky Pantyffynnon.

Although the home side managed to score five converted tries and two penalties without reply, credit must be given to the visitors for a valiant effort throughout the match. They never gave up and were only kept scoreless by some resolute defence by Dave Evans' team.

Druids try scorers were: Sion Brook, Ben Rowe, Rhodri Evans, Lewis Evans and Jamie Williams. Captain Dave Evans added five conversions & two penalties.

The final will be played at the home of the Scarlets in Pemberton, Llanelli on Saturday 26th May, 4pm kick off against a very good Ammanford 2nd XV who will start as firm favourites. But as we so often see, anything can happen in a one off meeting and it is sure to be a competitive and entertaining affair.
