Lest we forget

Today marks the 75th anniversary of Remembrance Day since the end of WW2. In addition to the National Ceremony held at the Cenotaph in Whitehall, London - communities throughout Britain paid tribute to the fallen of all conflicts at local war memorials.

Carmarthen was no different, with a large gathering attending a respectful ceremony which included two minutes of silence, at the town's war memorial in Priory Street.

The club lays a wreath annually to remember the glorious dead, friends & family who made the ultimate sacrifice.

We are grateful to club player Chris Howells who laid our wreath on behalf of the club. Lest we forget.
