Many congratulations to the ten Welsh Players who have been selected for the 2021 British & Irish Lions tour of South Africa.

We are extremely proud that two former Red & Blacks players are included in the selected Lions Squad.

Scarlets Captain & Wales hooker KEN OWENS embarks on his second Lions Tour, having featured in two tests on the 2017 trip to New Zealand to play the All Blacks. Owens was appointed Captain of the Lions on his debut against the Blues and went on to play in a further five on the ten match tour in which the Lions shared a drawn series.

Cardiff & Wales winger JOSH ADAMS is selected for his first Lions Tour and becomes the sixth Lion to have worn the Athletic shirt. He has been in consistent try scoring form since his Wales debut three years ago, scoring a total of 17 tries for his country. He was the top try scorer at the 2019 Rugby World Cup in Japan.
