RIP Brian Nodes

It is with much regret that we announce the passing of former Athletic Captain Brian Nodes. After a long fight with illness, he sadly passed away on Monday 19th October at his home in Fyfe, Scotland, aged 88 years. B. H. Nodes skippered the Club for two seasons in 1954-55 & 1956-57 and wore the Red & Black shirt with distinction. He was also the first captain of the Druids when our 2nd.XV was formed in 1960-61season. The late Neil Davies, author of 'Early in the morning....a history of Carmarthen Athletic 1944-1994', wrote "At present, Brian is the Chief Tourist O.....
